  4. God’s Word is…. The WayYour word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.Psalm 119:105 Scripture gives wisdom for how to live: • Decisions & choices • Behaviour and actions • Relationships and resources • What to do and what not to do • Moral boundaries

  5. God’s Word is…. Life…hold firmly to the word of life.Philippians 2:16 Scripture is a source of life to us: • brings purity and keeps from sin • Gives strength to live • Changes thinking • Releases faith

Reading Scripture: Devotionally Is there a.... • Promise to claim? • Warning to heed? • Command to obey? • Principle to apply? • Truth to believe? • Sin to avoid or repent of? • Lesson to learn? • Blessing to enjoy? • Prayer to pray? • Encouragement to receive? • Thought to ponder? • Response of worship?
