10. How Not to Plagiarise • Read lots of different articles • Analyse and summarise each article in your own words. • What did you think was important? What was the main • message or idea? • Hide the original article so you cannot copy from it • Write the answer down using the knowledge that you • learned from reading the articles, and use your • summaries to help you remember the main points • If you do not learn to do this now, you will not get through • your first year at University
