Approved DLMS ChangeADC 317 • ADC 317, Revised Business Rules for Transshipper-Prepared SDRs • USTRANSCOM coordinated implementation date May 9 for aerial ports • New SDR action codes distinguish SDRs requiring expedited response to resolve frustrated freight problems and those requiring no response, but which may be used by the action activity to correct shipping/packaging errors, recoup money from noncompliant vendors, and identify trends • A time standard of 5 days established for SDRs requesting expedited response (Action Code 3A) • Recommend expanded use of Action Code 3B, “Discrepancy reported for corrective action and trend analysis. No reply required.”

Approved DLMS ChangeADC 317, continued • Structure and procedures similar to CCP SDRs (Type W) • Variation of traditional SDR data content • TCN level • Pallet may carry multiple NSNs and multiple document numbers • Materiel identification may be “mixed” or “unknown” • Receipt Quantity and Discrepant Quantity may be unavailable • Type of Pack and Number of Pieces added • Repackaging labor and material costs • Distribution Rules: • DLA ICP: Block all but 3A, transmit via email • Distribution Depots: Block all but 3A, transmit via email • Distribution Copy to DDC via email • Standard rules for all others
