PDC 289 Changes • Remove Military Assistance Program (MAP) from the chapter. • C.6.3.2.1.4 - Add MAPAD, AP1.6 • C.6.5.2.1 – Add paragraph on release of assets in support of a RAD entry. • C.6.5.2.1 – Add a paragraph on extended RDDs in support of FMS • C6.15.3.3.5 – Add a paragraph on storage charges being assessed when items are held due to a failure to respond to an NOA. • C6.21.2 – Add a paragraph on DLA’s billing for Type of Assistance Code C Grant Aid requisitions.

PDC 289 Purpose • Current definition of Type of Assistance Code C: • Presidential determination to order defense articles from stock and performance of defense services to satisfy Grant Aid requirements with reimbursement from subsequent military assistance appropriations. (Section 506 of the FAA of 1961.)

PDC 289 Change to TAC C • Revised definition of Type of Assistance Code C: • Presidential determination to order defense articles from stock and performance of defense services to satisfy Grant Aid requirements with reimbursement from subsequent military assistance appropriations. (Section 506 of the FAA of 1961) All requests for Working Capital Fund activities (to include transportation) shall include a funding source to allow DWCF activities to be reimbursed by the military departments; orders will not be accepted without a funding source. (DoD FMR 7000.14R, Vol 12, paragraph 230502 and Vol 11B, paragraph 110106.1.)

  5. Proposed Change to Chapter 6 for DoD EMALL FMS Procedures • A request has been submitted to DLMSO to • Revise Chapter 6 to include DoD EMALL procedures for FMS access, query and order processing • Allow Service Routing Identifier Codes (RICs) to be used in internal processing of DoD EMALL orders from FMS customers
