  5. Important Positions • Wicket Keeper - a fielder stationed close behind a batsman's wicket and typically equipped with gloves and pads.

  6. Important Positions • Batsmen – Offensive players who are attempting to hit the ball and score runs. • Striker – The batsmen who is actively being pitched to. Batsmen Striker

  7. Terms • Wicket – The three stumps hammered into the ground at each end of the pitch. • Stumps – The individual rods that are hammered into the ground • Bails – The wooden sticks that are placed in between the Stumps

Most Common Ways to Get Out • Bowled - If a bowler's delivery hits the stumps and a bail is completely removed from the top of the stumps, the strikeris out. • Caught – If the ball is caught in the air after being touched or hit by the striker. • Run Out - when the wicket is put down while no part of his bat or person is grounded behind the popping crease Run Out

  10. Other Terms • Over – A set of six balls bowled (pitched) from one end of a cricket pitch. • Twenty20 Cricket (T20 Cricket) - A Twenty20 game involves two teams, each has a single inning, batting for a maximum of 20 overs.
