The Need – Diabetes • 25.8 million Americans — 8.3% of the U.S. population — have diabetes • Of those with diabetes, 7 million are undiagnosed • 79 million adults have pre-diabetes • Diabetes is the seventh leading cause of death Adapted from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
