  2. INFLUENCE ON LIFE TODAY • Shakespeare believed in his writings and felt strongly for the essence of love. • He felt that everyone could find love. • Made up words we speak today. • We still study his sonnets today.

  4. Words Shakespeare Invented • He invented over 1700 of our commonly used words today. • Nouns changed to verbs, and verbs to adjectives. • Prefixes and suffixes would be added as well. • A few words- swagger, caked, skim milk, radiance, and generous.
