Purpose and Outcome • To provide District leadership with an overview and structure for developing written processes to ensure District oversight of Federal Programs • Participants will • Leave with a complete sample process • identify a process their District needs • And initiate its development

  3. Districts are responsible for at least fifteen written processes to ensure oversight of federal programs

  4. The Happy Path The Happy Path provides a broad overview of the steps required to ensure the implementation of an ideal process. It involves a sequence of activities executed if everything goes as expected.

  6. Essential Components • Preconditions – An event that must take place before this event can occur • Triggers – Condition that starts this event • Input – Information needed to allow the event to occur • Result/ Output – What is to be expected to occur

  7. Essential Components • Assumptions – A thing that is accepted as true or as certain to happen, without proof • Dependencies – Contingent on another person or thing • Actor List – Requires identification of group/s and its members • Primary Flow – Requires identification of actor/s and associated action
