Introduction • The purpose of Rehearsing Uncertain Futures is to assist Skills for Health and its stakeholders to explore what the possible futures might look like in 2020 and how the health sector might respond • Three scenarios were developed to explore what the world might look like and to take into account the evolution • They provide a framework for thinking about different way in which the future might unfold from the present How did we develop the scenarios? • Sixty participants took part in three workshops, weaving together and building upon themes and stories to build scenarios • Also informed by prior interviews and expert papers

  3. Key drivers • Across the three workshops, there was broad agreement on 8 key drivers: • Different combinations of these drivers form the structure underpinning each of the scenarios, together with story snippets.
