Elderly Individuals and Individuals with Disabilities Program • Overview - Assist with the transportation needs of elderly individuals and individuals with disabilities • Eligible Recipients - Private non-profits and local public bodies • Eligible Purposes – Capital (including preventive maintenance and purchased rides) • Allocation – By TxDOT District, projects selected locally • Match – Requires 20%

Nonurbanized Area Program • Overview - Assist with the transportation needs of individuals living in rural America • Eligible Recipients – Rural Transit Districts • Eligible Purposes – Capital, Operating, and Administrative • Allocation – By formula to each rural transit district • Match – Cap & Admin: 20% Oper: 50%

  5. Urbanized Area Program • Overview - Assist transportation needs of individuals living in urbanized areas • Eligible Recipients – Urban Transit Districts • Eligible Purposes – Capital and Operating • Allocation – By formula to each urban transit district • Match – Cap: 20%; Oper: 50%

  6. Capital Program • Overview - Assist with the capital needs of transit systems • Eligible Recipients – Varies • Eligible Purposes – Capital • Allocation – Varies • Match – Requires 20%

Intercity Bus Program • Overview – Assist with the transportation needs of the intercity bus network and the connection with rural areas • Eligible Recipients – Varies, includes private carriers • Eligible Purposes – Capital, Operating, Administrative, Planning, and Marketing • Allocation – By RFP • Match – Cap, Admin, Plng & Mrktg: 20% Oper: 50%

Job Access Reverse Commute Program • Overview - Assist with the transportation needs of welfare/low income individuals and those traveling from urban to suburban employment • Eligible Recipients – Varies, includes private carriers • Eligible Purposes – Capital, Operating, Administrative, Planning, and Marketing • Allocation – By RFP • Match – Cap, Plng & Mrktg: 20% Admin & Oper: 50%
