  2. Segunda actividad ESTADISTICA Ciencia que trata de la recopilación , organización ,presentación , análisis e interpretación de datos numéricos, con el fin de realizar una toma de decisiones.

  3. “Quien es el usuario de estadística” Las técnicas estadísticas se aplican de manera amplia en actividades comerciales ,industriales , educativas , en medicina y en deportivas.

  4. División de la estadística Estadística inferencia: Es la parte de la estadística que estudia los métodos mediante los cuales se asen generalización o se toman decisiones con bases en una información parcial o incompleta obtenidas mediante técnicas descriptivas. Estadística descriptiva: Se refiere a los procedimientos empleados para organizar presentar, resumir y describir la información numérica obtenida de una parte de la población (muestra) o de la totalidad de ella.

  5. POBLACION Conjunto completo de individuos , objetos o mediciones que posean alguna característica común observable que deseamos estudiar.

  6. MUESTRA Es un sub junto o parte de la población.

  7. VARIABLES son características que pueden tomar diferentes valores. generalmente se simbolizan con las ultimas letras del alfabeto x, y, z etc.

  8. Clasificación de las variables. De acuerdo con los valores que pueden asumir las variables se clasifican en : 1-variable cualitativa. 2-varable cuantitativa. 3-variable continua. 4-variable discreta.

  9. Parámetro. Cualquier característica numérica de un población.

  10. ESTADISTICO. CARACTERISTICA NUMERICA OBTENIDA CON LOS DATOS DE UNA MUESTRA.
