  2. Two parts-AP and BP • AP part-file name is 591321_8379_V0315_AP • BP part file name is 591321_8379_WCDMA_V3038_BP

Install AP driver • Power off handset, press “Power key + Voice Up key” until the screen shows green, plug in usbcable, PC will remind you of installing new hardware. • Click on Device Manager and right click on unknown device update driver Browse my computer for update software and show the ‘adb_driver’ folder location.

  4. Click Browse and show the folder location This will install the driver and you will get something like the below screen.

  5. Install BP part driver • Power on handset, plug in 5Pin USB cable, select unzipped“HK11‐VB717‐27\HK11‐VB717‐27_1.0.56\Win32\x86\free” file, install BP driver as the same way of installing AP driver. • And you will get the below thing:

  6. For BP part update, you need to add two “mbn” files in software folder, so copy the two “mbn” files (appsboot.mbn and appsboothd.mbn) from AP folder to BP folder. AP BP

  7. Install QPST software download tool from, QPST_72-V1400-129 folder. • Now click on QPST configuration from start menu and select ports and click on ‘add new port’ and select the available port.

  9. Open Qualcomm platform update tool “QPST Software Download”, interface as below:

  10. Open Qualcomm platform update tool “QPST Software Download”, interface as below: Click on browse and select the port

  11. Click “Backup”, backup phone data to “qcn” file at the BP folder and click start.

  12. Click “Multi‐image”, select software code of BP part from BP folder.

  13. Click “Advance”, select the two “mbn” file. • If you don’t select the two “mbn” files, BP may doesn’t match AP part, and your phone may not boot.

  14. Select “Auto Backup/Restore” and start your update.

  15. Install AP part • Unzip FastbootV1.0.1.5.rar and open fastboot.exe. • Click browse and show the AP software part from AP folder. • Select “img” files.

  16. Power off handset, press “Power key + Voice Up key” until the screen shows green, enter in Fastboot mode, plug in usb cable, click “Download” to start AP part update.

  17. Complete AP part update. If you get time out, try several times.
