The Digital Library of Catalonia • Licensed information • 7,200 e-journals • 6,900 e-books • 37 databases • 7,000,000 € annual • Consortial Access to all CBUC members, who economically contribute through an inner formula of costs distribution • Catalan information • TDX: more than 3,300 doctoral theses • RECERCAT: more than 1,400 research documents • RACO: more than 90 Catalan scientific journals • Memòria de Catalunya: in development • 23 Catalan databases • E-TOC • Open Access
Licensed information • 7,200 e-journals: Elsevier, Kluwer, Springer, JSTOR, Emerald, etc. • 6,900 e-books: Safari, NetLibrary, Oxford Reference Online, etc. • 37 databases: Factiva, ISI Web of Knowledge, The Serials Directory, ProQuest Health & Medical Complete, PsycINFO, IEEEXplore, etc.
Catalan information • Most of the information will not be available on the Web unless there is someone who takes charge of it • Libraries have been carrying on this function in the ‘paper’ paradigm (= guarantee open access to information) In e- repositories

TDX:Introduction of a thesis • Responsible: Service of libraries, of publications, of third cicle, of academic management... • Sign a publishing contract with the author • Fill in an online template with the metadata • Attach the file(s) containing the thesis text (pdf) • Request the DL and the ISBN
Research documents repository: RECERCAT • Cooperative repository ofdigital documentsthat includes the grey literatureof universities investigation and of Catalan investigation centres Grey literatureis the name given to articleswhich are not yet published(preprints), conference communications, research reports, working papers, etc.

RECERCAT:Introduction of a document • Responsible: the author, the department, the libraries service... • Accept the CC licence • Fill in an online template with the metadata • Attach the file(s) containing the full text document (pdf) • Following 3 different workflows: AWithno revision BWithmetadata revision CWithcontentandmetadata revision
