Jigsaw Questioning Strategies • Work in groups (~15 min) • Read intro text & text for your group’s strategy (# on your card) (5 min of quiet) • Identify purpose of strategy • Identify a question stem • Generate 2+ questions for your strategy *Take notes because you’ll be sharing with others who have not read about your strategy
Jigsaw Questioning Strategies • Switch groups (color of card) • Teach your colleagues about your strategy • Share your question stem & questions • If time, develop new example questions for each strategy- lead by those who were not assigned the strategy
