Library Board of Trustees • Primary responsibilities: • Acquire property for library purposes • Employ personnel • Adopt and implement policies and procedures for the operation of the library • Submit a budget to the Governing Board for adoption of the millage rate • Meets second Thursday of each month at 7:00 p.m. • Financial Disclosure Required

  3. Library Board of Trustees • Five members appointed by the Governing Board: • Three members representing Orange County • Two members representing the City of Orlando • Livia Rivera, an Orange County representative, has resigned.

  4. Library Board of Trustees • ACTION REQUESTED: • Nomination of an individual to succeed Livia Rivera as an Orange County representative on the Library Board of Trustees with a term effective April 8, 2008 and expiring December 31, 2008.
