Library Board of Trustees • Primary responsibilities: • Acquire property for library purposes • Employ personnel • Adopt and implement policies and procedures for the operation of the library • Submit a budget to the Governing Board for adoption of the millage rate • Meets second Thursday of each month at 7:00 p.m. • Financial Disclosure Required
Library Board of Trustees • Five members appointed by the Governing Board: • Three members representing Orange County • Two members representing the City of Orlando • The term of Sara Brady, an Orange County representative, will expire December 31, 2007. She has served one term and wishes to continue serving for a second term.
Library Board of Trustees • ACTION REQUESTED: • Nomination of Sara Brady for reappointment as an Orange County representative on the Library Board of Trustees or nomination of an individual to succeed her with a term effective January 1, 2008 and expiring December 31, 2011.

Library Board of Trustees • ACTION REQUESTED: • Appointment of an Orange County representative to the Library Board of Trustees with a term effective January 1, 2008 and expiring December 31, 2011.
Code Enforcement Board • Seven members appointed on the basis of experience or interest in the fields of zoning and building control • Shall include, whenever possible: • An architect • A business person • An engineer/surveyor • A general contractor (currently not in use) • A subcontractor • A licensed real estate broker or licensed real estate salesman
Code Enforcement Board • Has jurisdiction to hear and decide alleged violations of the codes and ordinances in force in the county • Has the authority to levy fines against those persons found in non-compliance of county codes • Meets third Wednesday of each month at 9:00 a.m. • Financial Disclosure Required
Code Enforcement Board • Subject to the inclusion of those professional specialties, each district of the county shall be represented by at least one member. All districts are currently represented. • The terms of two members, Rick Mellin and Vernice Atkins-Bradley will expire December 31, 2007.

Membership and Mission Review Board • Makes recommendations to the Board of County Commissioners concerning appointments to advisory boards. • Conducts sunset reviews of advisory boards. • Meets third Friday of each month at 8:30 a.m.
Membership and Mission Review Board • Nine members: one appointed from each of the county commission districts upon recommendation of the district commissioner; one member appointed by the Mayor; and two at large members appointed by the full Board of County Commissioners. • The terms of the two at large members, Ronald Rogers and Evelyn Rivera, will expire December 31, 2007.
