What is a Cinquain Poem? • Cinquain means “group of 5” • A 5 line poem that uses the following to describe the subject: • 2 adjectives • 3 action verbs • 1 feeling • 1 synonym • Follows the order of 2, 4, 6, 8, and 2 syllables
Take Note! • The lines are usually unrhymed • You can use punctuation, but do not have to
