  2. My Hero • My hero is Neil Armstrong – the first man on the Moon.

  3. Why He Is My Hero Neil is my hero because he was not only an astronaut, he was an aerospace engineer, a naval aviator, a test pilot and a university professor. He lived life to the fullest! 

  4. About Neil Armstrong • Neil Armstrong was born on the fifth of August, 1930 in the American state of Ohio. He had a brother, whose name was Dean, and a sister, whose name was June. His parents’ names were Stephen and Viola.

  5. More About Neil Armstrong • Before becoming an astronaut, Neil Armstrong served as a U.S. Naval officer and served in the Korean War. After the war, he earned his bachelor’s degree at Purdue University and served as a test pilot at NACA (National Advisory Committee for Aeronautics).
