Objectives of the Presentation • Provide an overviewof the GPW13 and its Results Framework • Highlight how Ethiopia would contribute to the goals and targets in GPW 13 and relevance to HSTP II • Highlight the need to strengthen the health information system in developing the M&E framework • Increased focus on information revolution in HSTPII

Programme Budget Appropriation Resolution 72.1 In resolution WHA72.1, the 72nd World Health Assembly in May 2019; • Approved the Programme budget for 2020-21 • Requested the Director-General, inter alia, to continue developing the results framework of the Thirteenth General Programme of Work, 2019–2023 (GPW13) in consultation with Member States, including through the regional committees. • To present it to the Executive Board at its 146th session in January 2020.
