  4. Why this? Increase awareness of Total Defence’s 5 BIG Main Pillars, and how it relates to our daily life: • Civil Defence • Military Defence • Economical Defence • Social Defence • Psychological Defence

  6. Game • Get 10 volunteers from the class • You have 15 slips of paper in your hands. Only show them to the 10 volunteers. • Get the volunteers to act it out, and encourage foolish actions. • Get the class to guess what pillar of Total Defence it is in. Namely, Military Defence, Civil Defence, Psychological Defence, Social Defence, and Economic Defence. • Those who gets the answer correct gets a lollipop! (The volunteers get to decide who answers) • End at 6-10 rounds. Teachers be timekeepers…

  10. Game • Take a piece of paper with a pen in hand. • Write a story about the Japanese invading Singapore successfully in World War 2, • Can be nonsensical! Actually, be nonsensical • Incorporate the 5 Pillars of Total Defence – how the Japanese won by targeting these Pillars of Defence • 30 seconds to be given for each student to complete a few sentences for the story. • 10 rounds • Time for presentation of your stories
