  5. Characteristics of a Quitter: • Always Negative, “Can’t be done” Attitude- Numbers 13:31 • Excuse Hunters – Proverbs 20:4 • Proverbs 26:13 • Luke 14:15-24 • Blames Failures on Others – Genesis 3:12,13 • Refuses to Face Problems – Jonah 1:1-3

  6. Characteristics of a Quitter: • Procrastinates – Acts 24:24,25 “when I have a convenient time I will call for you.” • Wilts under Pressure – Matthew 13:20,21 “”tribulation or persecution…stumbles.”

  7. Characteristics of a Winner: • Always Positive – Numbers 13:30 • Philippians 4:13 • Never hunts for Excuses – Genesis 42:1,2 • Faces His Problems – Psalm 11:1 • Does not hesitate when He has a Knowledge of the Truth – Acts 8:36-38 • Recognizes Today is Day of Salvation- 2 Corinthians 6:2

  8. Application • Excuse Hunters – “I was too tired. We got to bed so late last night.” • “Company came and I didn’t want to embarrass them by leaving for the assembly.” • “The building is too COLD or too HOT.” • Too busy with Pleasures!

  9. WINNERS plan their Time Around The Lord’s Kingdom • John 1:45,46 “Come and see.” • Matthew 12:47-50 “whoever does the will of My Father in heaven is My brother & sister & mother.”

  10. WHAT ARE YOU? A Quitter or a Winner? Winners Never Quit & Quitters Never Go To Heaven!
