  2. TOOLS • Firemen need a lot of special tools. Tools help them fight fire and do their job.

  3. WATER • Water is the important tool. Firemen need water because they use it to fight fire. A truck with a tank sometimes comes and gives fire trucks water.

  4. JAWS OF LIFE • The jaw of life is there to help people get out of car.

  5. MASKS • Fireman also have masks to protect their lungs. Firemen need oxygen bottles because they don’t want to breath in smoke.

  6. SAWS • Firemen need circular saw for cutting door or wall.

  7. LADDERS • Firefighters need ladders so they can get in the building. The fire truck has a tall ladder and telescopic for observing the fire.

  8. FIRE ENGINES • Some fire engines have a long roof and a short ladder. Fire engines have a big tank on the truck to keep the water. Hoses are kept at the back. Their is a tall platform to get up to the top building. The engines has four legs to keep the platform to stand still. Fire engines have a very long platform.

  9. HELPERS • Fire fighters are busy people. They fight fire, rescue people, and help emergencies. When there is fire or accident they arrive with a cutting tool to cut the car and open the car and help the driver. They help people in many other way. They help people who are trap or stuck in placers, they help people who are injured

  10. WORKING • When there is a fire they have to connect the hoses to the fire truck. Then spray water all over the fire. • A long time ago people helped pass water in buckets to the fire.

  11. TRAINING • At fire school firefighter learn how to do there job. They learn how to treat injuries people. They also learn how to use a ladder. They learn how to use foam and more.

  12. FOREST FIRES • When there is a fire in the forest, a fire helicopter comes to spray all over the forest. Fire burns on one tree and it can spread quickly.
