  2. ‘Abd Allah IbnHiraam A Leader • When 70 Ansaar gave their allegiance to the Prophet (PBUH) in the 2nd Pledge of ‘Aqabah, he was one of them. • When the Messenger of Allah (PBHU) chose leaders among them, and ‘Abd Allah IbnHiraam was one of them chosen. • He was the leader of the BaniSalamah tribe.

  3. The Dream • At Uhud he dreamed of his death before the Muslims went out to battle. • He called his son JaabirIbn ‘Abd Allah, and told him now he saw himself dying in a battle. Hoping to be the first martyr among the Muslims.

  4. The Battle of Badr • In the Battle of Badr, the Quraish came with an army and invaded their peaceful city. In the beginning the Muslims were winning, until they ignored the Prophet (PBUH) and left there positions. They snuck up behind the Muslims and killed them, leading to a victory winning the war.

  5. The Death • ‘Abd Allah Ibn ‘Amr died in the Battle of Badr as a martyr. When the Prophet passed by the his dead body. He said aloud, “Cry over him or not, the angles are here to shade him with their wings!”

  6. The Burial • As the Prophet (PBUH) was burying all his martyred Companions, when it was ‘Abd Allah IbnHiraam turn he called out. “Bury ‘Abd Allah Ibn ‘Amr and ‘AmrIbn Al- Jamuuh in one grave ; they were loving and sincere to each other in this world.”
