CAMP INVENTION At KIRBY Middle School Day 1 Students mimic the “muckers” that worked for Thomas Edison as they build a Rube Goldberg machine out of old machines and recyclable materials.
Working in teams, younger children focus on building inventions that burst water balloons, while older children create multi-step, balloon bursting Rube Goldberg-type machines, signifying their success. I CAN INVENT: Balloon Burst
The Action and Adventure Games module scores a home run by combining physical activity and creativity. Children practice teamwork, cooperation, coordination, and creative problem solving processes during fun, energetic games. Action Adventure Games
Students combine concepts in Science and Math such as tesselations, topology, minimal surfaces, fractals, and angles to create bubbles, observe shapes nature and build games in order to bring the fun back to the Pattern Kingdom. SMArt
The students learn physics concepts such as Newton’s Three Laws of Motion and inertia as they design a roller coaster and other amusement park rides in Imagination Point. Imagination Point™: Ride Physics
Students build a spacecraft to explore the galaxy. After crash landing on Planet ZAK, they must “reassemble” their crashed spacecraft from a variety of common objects. Problem Solving on Planet ZAK™
