What is a Ghetto??? • Well a ghetto was a very poor city that Jews and other people that Hitler didn't find worthy were forced to live in • He found people that were Jewish, handicapped, or different unworthy.
Warsaw Warsaw was one of the two largest ghettos.
These ghettos were surrounded by barbwire, brick wall, and armed solders.
About Warsaw • The capital of Warsaw is Poland, all 22 entrances of the ghetto was closed. Conditions in Warsaw were so poor, between 1940 and 1942 an estimated 100,000 Jews die of starvation and disease.
The Journey • On October 1939, the SS began to transport Jews living in Australia and Czechoslovakia to ghettos in Poland. Numbers Died.
