Mandated Reporter Program Summary • Program since 2001 (No Cost) • Provide trainings to professionals/students * health, mental health, education, social services, justice, law enforcement, faith community and child care • 1.5-2 hour community training • Half-day workshop • Train-the-Trainer workshop • Provides materials/resources

  7. Partners • Aspiranet • CATTA • Interface Children Family Services • Ventura County District Attorney’s Office, Safe Harbor • Ventura County Human Services Agency, Adult & Family Services and Children & Family Services • Ventura County Public Health

Statistics 2010-2011 • Nine Community Trainings and One Half-Day Workshop: 130 mandated reporters trained • Annual Train-the-Trainer Workshop: 38 mandated reporters trained as trainers • Since the program’s inception: a total of 2,113 mandated reporters trained and of that total 534 mandated reporterstrained as trainers

  9. Evaluations Community, Half-Day and Train the-Trainer Workshops Pre/Post Test Average Score - goal 90% • Pre 66% - Post: 89% Learning objectives/goals andknowledge of reporting criteria - goal 90% • After training average score 96.8%

  10. Evaluations Measurements Scoring: 1-5 1=strongly disagree, 3=agree, 5= strongly agree • Trainer knowledge and ability to communicate Goal Score of 4: Achieved average score of 4.9 • Overall evaluation of training, Goal Score of 4: Achieved average score of 4.8

  14. Program Summary The Partnership holds and attends different meetings/events to educate and outreach to the community. We provide prevention resources on child abuse and family/community violence to address abuse across the lifespan.

ArtProject CEDC’S 30th Anniversary Family Festival:Pathways to Peace and Prosperity Kids Health & Safety Fair, the grand opening of First Flight Preschool Hosted a family art project with Kids’ Arts • The art was showcased on a clothesline representing a quilt of beautiful art depicting the project’s theme • Approximately 65 families contributed to the project.
