  23. This is Paul’s last letter, written approximately A.D. 66 or 67, from a Roman prison.

  24. These are Paul’s last words before he dies. He died because he testified that Jesus Christ is the son of King David. And this Jesus is the Son of the One true God. And Jesus is resurrected from the dead. And He is One and the same with the God of all creation.

  25. According to Christian tradition, Paul was beheaded in Rome during the reign of Nero around the mid-60s by comparison, tradition has Peter being crucified upside-down. Paul's Roman citizenship accorded him the more merciful death by beheading.
