ALNAP Annual Review 2002: Improving performance through improved learning Action Points for agencies: • Assessment of organization's current approaches and practices in learning and knowledge management • Assessment of the organization's learning and training activities. • Assessment of preferred learning styles of humanitarian personnel employed by the organization. • Ensure the organization has in place a comprehensive programme to support learning and knowledge management. • Leadership commitment and prioritization of learning to develop a culture of learning and self-critical reflection • Ensure HR Information systems are able to assess rates of staff turnover and systems are in place to protect learning and knowledge
