Amicus Briefs • Each year NSBA submits more amicus briefs to the U.S. Supreme Court, the U.S. Courts of Appeals, and state appellate courts than all other education associations combined. Texts of our most recent briefs are available in this site.
Inquiry & Analysis • Instead of waiting to receive your copy in the mail, this new service will allow you to read and download PDF files of Inquiry & Analysis. The files will be posted in the Members Only section as they become available and archived for your convenience.
Leadership Insider • Leadership Insider is published six times annually by NSBA's National Education Policy Network and its Council of School Attorneys in cooperation with its National Affiliate program. It offers practical perspectives on school law and policy.
Search COSA Database • The Council of School Attorneys' on-line database is updated with new documents every week. Search here for helpful case notes, articles, news summaries, policies, briefs, contracts, and litigation documents. • Search by keyword, category, title, author, or case name.
Document sharing • This web service allows Council of School Attorneys' (COSA) members to upload and share documents with other COSA members. The material you upload will become part of the searchable COSA database, and once placed in the database can be replaced, edited or deleted by the person submitting it.
Document sharing continued • There are three (3) steps in the process of sharing documents: • Step 1: enter data describing the document (document properties) • Step 2: upload document content (file types are limited) • Step 3: assign keywords to the document (to help others find documents). • To get started, just click on the "Add New Document" button below terms of use.
Document sharing continued • After submitting the document you will return to the COSA document homepage • A message will indicate the document has been saved successfully • Your new document will be listed below the terms of use • You may edit or delete documents at any time • Once a document is saved, other members will be able to access it in the COSA database
