How will the venue operate?Spectators & Workforce Key Facts • All tickets are sold - max1450 capacity • Day ticket allows access to all sessions taking place • Unreserved seating & standing • Gates open one hour before competition starts • Merchandise, catering and spectator info points available within Enclosed and Shotgun • Spectator Rest area- the Pit Stop Transport to Venue • Free access with ticket to 73 bus routes from Dundee and Arbroath and Scotrail services • Spectator Parking available free adjacent to Carnoustie Hotel • Shuttle service from Kinloch Street to TPT Mall • Last Mile walking route from TPT Hubs (Rail & Parking site)along National Cycle Route (Angus & Network Rail to support) • Walk the last 900 metres from TPT Mall to FOH PSA • Accessible Park & Ride adjacent to Carnoustie Hotel direct to BOH PSA • No internal transport for spectators Workforce • Free access to the same public transport. Accredited groups Key facts • Athletes staying across two villages Carnoustie Hotel and the Apex – 38 teams confirmed • Technical Officials staying in the Westpark Villas Dundee • Press staying in the Holiday Inn Dundee Transport • Accredited groups will be transported from accommodation to venue via shuttles services and delivered to BOH PSA. • Only internal shuttle is to full bore for accredited groups only

Security -Key Facts • Venue Security Command Centre (VSCC) co –located in the Event Control Room (ECR) at Enclosed. • SEC 24 hours per day (MDS overnight) • ‘OFF’ hours SEC are in control of the site. ‘ON’ hours VMA are in control of the site. Handover process at the start/end of each day. • A blend of Private Contract Security (Sword) & Police to secure inside the venue • Phased increase of SEC personnel from now until games • Police to operate at VPC, PSAs & VSA • Reject route to redirect vehicles without VAPPS • Police to patrol the external perimeter OC internal perimeter

Security perimeter fencing • Security fencing around perimeter of enclosed ranges with PIDS • Security fencing around the armoury within enclosed with PTZ & PIDS • Shotgun partial security fencing around BOH areas with thermal cameras • Security patrols to the west of Big Wood during competition hours

Security continued Sentry points • All five sentry points manned by OC SEC from 13th-29th July Sentry Flags • Will operate in the same way as when MoD have live firing Range Safety/ Clearance • Exercise ‘wide awake’ to be carried out by SEC within OC footprint every morning and every evening • OC to call Range Control and report ‘Range Clear’ (OC footprint only) Range Control • SEC personnel based within Range control will operate as a liaison – in particular and will operate as the link between Range control and OC.

Key Challenges Sea/Range Danger Area Operating Procedure been developed by MoD, coastguard, Police Scotland and the OC Waterborne safety rib as a deterrent during competition period Safety buoys in line with Sentry Hotel Police Marine Unit Response Vessel Dedicated Range Liaison Officer in the ECR SEC liaison within Range Control

Community Engagement • Community engagement held on 28th May • RAPPS give to residents on station road Barry • Panmure Golf access as usual • Gate on last mile walking route to be locked from 12th-29th 6am-8pm • Angus volunteer staging post Carnoustie Leisure Centre • Angus and Network Rail volunteers along last mile walking route • Carnoustie Golf Links members relocated next in black slab area
