Apostrophe ( ' ) 1. ใช้แสดงความเป็นเจ้าของของคำนามทั้งนามเอกพจน์และนามพหูพจน์ เช่น The doctor's car The men's club Somkiet's dog 2. ใช้แสดงความเป็นเจ้าของของคำนามพหูพจน์ที่เติม s หรือชื่อเฉพาะที่มี s เช่น The girls' books Charles' school 3. ใช้คำย่อหรือรูปย่อ can't (cannnot) it's (it is) I'd rather (I woud rather)
