Habitat • The western mastiff bats which inhabitin western Texas, California, southern to northern Brazil, central America, Rio grand, Valverd, Brewster and presidia at side of cliffs becauseits away from humans, asif they are scared of us.
Enemies • It only has one enemy and that is humans because we hurt them and are cruel to them.
Babies • It occasionally has two twins; normally one per pregnancy when the baby is born it took approximately 80 -90 days. When it’s born it will be June or early July its colour is a dull black. It can have 2 at a time. Its so petite it will fit on your palm.
Physical description • It’s a Dull Black and brownish. • It is 57 mm foot. It lives up to 20 years. It weighs 2-2.5 ounces in total.
Diet • The Western Mastiff Bat, whichforages for moths, catches it with its tail sticking up.
Interesting facts • It is a member of the free tailed bat. it is the largest bat in North America. Its also known as western bonneted bat.
Special abilities • It can fly and it uses echolocation and it eats pests.
