  3. REMINDERS • Illegible writing • Multiple attempts at question • Black or blue pen (pencil??) • Explanations must address specific question. Writing everything can lead to contradictions.

  4. Explanations – 1 mark per dot point • Show working – some require it • Excessive rounding off of working and answers • Calculators • Answers as simplified decimals

  7. STATISTICS • 6989 students • Mean = 62% • Median = 65% • Std dev = 22% • Number achieving 100% =6 • Detailed studies (14%, 73%, 12%)
