Arleen Taffel touched the lives of children as a teacher for over 40 years and, Mt. Bethel was blessed to have her with us for 30 of those years. Her passion for teaching, her zest to continue improving her craft, her happiness, encouragement, and yes, her deep love for her students permeated the halls of Mt. Bethel. Arleen’s legacy and legend will never be forgotten. Please help us honor her legacy at Mt. Bethel by contributing to the Arleen Taffel Memorial Garden. You can purchase a personally inscribed brick(s) to be placed in the courtyard of the garden or simply make a tax-deductible donation in her honor. If you wish to sponsor benches and/or fixtures in the garden, please contact Reba Bachrach at Mt. Bethel for more information. As a lasting tribute to Arleen Taffel, this garden will help transform the entrance to Mt. Bethel Elementary for years to come! Even if your life, or the life of your child(ren), was not directly touched by Mrs. Taffel, you are welcome to purchase a brick to honor your child’s time at Mt. Bethel! Your purchase of a brick paver engraved with your name, your child’s name, your teacher’s name, or a personal message will signify your lasting involvement in this project.
