When to use UA and LNL EDOCS • True Liberty Branch • - Always use LNL EDOCS • Conversion/Cross-Sell Branch • - Depends on license type and products to be sold
When to use UA and LNL EDOCS • Conversion/Cross-Sell Branches • Applicant holds perm license • Always upload through UA EDOCS • LNL contract will be included to be signed • Issuance of the LNL number is an overnight process once the UA number is activated
When to use UA and LNL EDOCS • Conversion/Cross-Sell Branches • Applicant holds temp license • Upload through UA EDOCS if Agent will sell only true UA products (GA, IL, TX Only) • Upload through LNL EDOCS if Agent will sell Medicare and/or true LNL products
Data Sheet – Review of Key Items Next we will review a sample data sheet for some commonly missed items.
Sample Data Sheet Issues • Invalid Social Security Number • Last name misspelled • Incorrect birthday • U.S. citizen • Resident history • Question 7 yes answers • Ever used another name • AL only (5 year work history) • Felony question
Appointment Process – Temp States • Proof of temp license • AL – $50 payment through PayPal or in the Home Office via money order • FL/MS – Copy of online application or copy of the temp license • GA/TX – Original Temp App and proof of completed fingerprinting • IL – Original Temp App • * Note – TX temps should only be used when absolutely necessary because of the cost and limited number
Appointment Process – Temp States (LNL) • Process steps • Internal Background Check • State background check • Agent number issued (not activated) • Welcome packet sent • Verify license has been issued through NIPR • Complete appointment with the state (if required) • Activate Agent number to write business
Appointment Process – Temp States (UA) • Process steps • Internal Background Check • State background check • Verify license has been issued through NIPR • Complete appointment with the state (if required) • Agent number issued and activated to write business • Welcome packet sent
Appointment Process – Perm States (LNL) • Process steps • Passing results received • Internal background check • State background check • Agent number issued (not activated) • Welcome packet sent • Verify license has been issued through the NIPR • Complete appointment with the state (if required) • Activate Agent number to write business
Appointment Process – Perm States (UA) • Process steps • Verify license has been issued through the NIPR • Internal background check • State background check • Complete appointment with the state (if required) • Agent number issued and activated to write business • Welcome packet sent
Appointment Process – Non-Resident • Send request to appropriate e-mail box for requested states • License must be issued and on NIPR before appointment can be made • Upline must be licensed and appointed in requested states • Conversion Branch requests will be added to both UA and LNL unless otherwise specified
