November is a National Awareness Month for Prostate Cancer and other men’s health issues. To celebrate their masculinity, many men take part in events during the month of November that promote their manliness. One of these month-long celebrations is No Shave November….
What is No Shave November? • As defined my UrbanDictionary.com: “The month of November in which you don't shave any hair of your body but instead you grow more bestial, brutish, and manly.” There will be a prize for the biggest, fullest, beard of the 4th floor of Ghafari at the end of the month!!!
Movember?? • It is quite common for some males in Australia (especially in the city of Melbourne), and New Zealand to sport a moustache during the month of November. The custom being known asMovember(Movember is a portmanteau of the words 'Moustache' and 'November'.). Movember is often a fundraising event for men's health issues.
Official NO SHAVE NOVEMBER Rules 1) Shave cleanly on October 31st.2) Don't shave for the month of November Amendments: 1) Existing follicle facial features can be left unshaved on November 1st. Allowed features include but are not limited to: sideburns, soul patches, and goatees. All preexisting follicle specimens must be of reasonable length and size. Note: this applies to manicured exemplar only.2) Neck shaving is to be allowed as dictated by neckal irritation. 3) Individuals who can not cleanly shave on October 31st because they don't want to be see as ladyboys can still participate, but an initial beard as short as possible is preferred.

Beard Facts • On average, whiskers grow 5.5 inches per year. • Hans Langseth of Norway grew the longest beard ever recorded at 17' 6". • The average man will spend 140 days of his life shaving.
