  1. A.E.S. CSI Timeline SY 2009-2010 It was a very good year!

  2. Organizing the new CSIT • Organizing the assessments windows for school for data collection (update profile)

  3. Organizing the school year calendar for CSIT Meetings • Getting the new words for (Science and Social Studies) Building Academic across grade levels

  4. Math CSIT Chair provided some samples for assessing Goal #2 • CSIT decided on 2 samples on problem solving to be collected to track the implementation phase for (4-steps problem solving) by all grade levels • AdvancED binders were distributed to the CSIT members • The reading and Math Chair briefed the Team on the Interventions for Goals 1&2

  5. Monitoring the Implementation Phase for both Goals • Ms. Stepanof presented the DRA data and graphs to the CSIT members. Findings were discussed for 1st, 2nd, 3rd grades.

  6. Monitoring the Implementation Phase, the Reading and Math chair briefed the team on the interventions and how they are working in all grade levels. • The CSIT calendar for the next 2 quarters was released • School Board Presentation related to Goal 1& 2 and the School Improvement Plan

  7. Ms. Stepanof and Ms. Calenzani analyzed the data to maintain a comprehensive assessment system and to compare the results from previous assessments • CSIT Chair met with PTO to work together for the CSIP goals.

  8. CSIT newsletter out to all stakeholders with the School Profile Snapshot information and the AdvancED Standards. • Staff Development during a long faculty meeting -Using Data to Differentiate Instruction , Collecting Artifact and answering the SAR questions for AdvancED Committees • AdvancED Committees Meeting twice a month to work on focus questions

  9. Mrs. Stepanof and Mrs. Calenzani shared the assessments results with all grade levels during Teaming time. They concentrate their efforts on identifying the students with needs, developing instructional tools to target those students and monitor their progress. • AdvancED Committees Meeting twice a month to work on focus questions

Staff Development Day - Continuous School Improvement Presentation for Goal #1 (Ms. Billoch) Building Academic Vocabulary & Reading Streets • Reading Intervention Initiative to Support Goal # 1(Ms. Karla Morey) • Goal # 2 Strategies for Problem Solving (Mrs. Urbiztondo) • AdvancED Committees Meeting twice a month to work on focus questions

  11. Staff Development – CSI Chair Presentation Time Line and Future Steps for School Year 2010-2011 • Enid Stepanof and Eva Coriano TNT data results Presentation for Third and Fourth grade • AdvancEd Committee Meeting to finalize questions
