  4. Arrangements up to May half-term • All lessons will run as normal until 23rd May. We expect students to attend all lessons. • Where exams have already been taken, lessons will be used for revision and appropriate materials will be available.

  5. Arrangements after May half-term • Study leave commences on 2nd June. • From 2nd June students only need to attend their exams. Revision sessions will also be provided in Maths and English and students are strongly encouraged to attend these sessions.

  6. Examination Information • During morning exams the school gates will be open at the usual times. • Following morning exams students may leave the site through the Oliver Road gate if they have no further exams that day. • For those students taking a further examination in the afternoon, the Y11 café will be available for revision purposes and there will also be refreshments available for purchase. • For students arriving at school for an afternoon examination beginning at 1.30pm, the Oliver Road gate will be open for students at 1pm until 1.15pm. • It is vitally important that students arrive in plenty of time for all their exams and that they bring the correct equipment.

  7. Year 11 Prom • The Prom is on Thursday 3rd July at Stockbrook Manor. Students who have booked to attend the Prom will be able to pick them after their English Exam on the 3rd June. • It is essential that the ticket is brought to the Prom; no ticket means no entry. • The school reserves the right to prevent attendance at the Prom should high standards of behaviour not be observed during the period leading up to and during the exams. • Currently all prom tickets have been sold and there are no more available– Already a waiting list.

  8. Progress Reports • Year 11 Progress Report is due to be issued on the 6th May. • They will now be issued on Monday 12th May to allow the results of the Pre-Publication Exams in Maths and English. • These are being undertaken on Friday 25th, Monday 28th and Tuesday 29th April.

  9. Uniform • Uniform standards need to be maintained up to and including the exam period. • You must wear school uniform to all exams!

  10. Easter Revision • Very well attended • Really well done for those who came to the sessions. Hope that they have made a difference.

  11. Preparation • Get the equipment you will need for all your exams. • Speak to teachers and establish what equipment you need • Bring spare black pens and pencils • Better to be over prepared that underprepared.

  12. Know Where Your Seat Is!!! • Too many students have been asking where they are sitting on the morning of the exam. Bring you individual timetable with you each day for exams, be prepared.

  13. In the Exam Hall • There should be no Communication with any other student at any point during the exam. • Invigilators don’t know you and if the notice something they may disqualify you from all exams from that exam board. Its not worth it.

  14. Valuable Bags • Only put your valuables in a bag. • Please don’t share as you might have an alternate finish time for your exams as someone else.

  15. Next week • No assembly in the morning • Period 5 got to the exam hall • Good luck for those doing exams next week.
