Last of Year 11- 9th May 2014 • Students must be in normal uniform BEFORE REGISTRATION. • They must bring a spare shirt with them for people to sign. It must not be the one they are wearing. • They will have lots of time to see their friends, take photos etc. but they must attend the activities put on for them. • NO eggs, flour, spray cans, silly string etc. • Kinver Edge If students fail to follow these rules they will be sent home
Any student who disrupts the education of the other students over the remaining few weeks will be asked to study at home. They will not be invited to the revision sessions run by staff. They will not be included in the last day or allowed to attend the Prom.This could effect their overall results.

Creating a Revision Timetable www.getrevising.co.uk Students should create a plan of revision and aim to stick to it 90% of the time. A visual plan is easier to work to. This should be well underway by the end of this month. If students are away over Easter or May half-term revision does need to go with them!
What does successful Revision look like? Before 9th May 3 nights of revision per week & either Saturday or Sunday Rest breaks are built in. 2 x 60 minute slots of revision per evening covering a variety of topics and subjects. A suitable area, away from the daily distractions of FaceBook etc.!

Aids to Revision • Mind maps • Post it notes around the house. Bathroom and Kitchen are good places. Move them round after a few days. • Computer websites e.g. SAM Learning • Revision guides. (many can be bought in school, check you purchase the right exam board) • Exam questions / past papers • Flash cards • Learning Styles (reference: booklet)
