Classroom Rules • Follow directions the first time • Be seated with supplies ready for use when the bell rings • Raise your hand for permission to speak or leave your seat • Leave hands, feet, and discourteous remarks to yourself. Keep food, drinks, and GUM out of the classroom • Show respect at all times • All math must be done in pencil with required steps shown
Be an active learner! • Take notes carefully & neatly. Take the notes home to use when doing your assignment • Do all homework problems each night to the best of your ability. Put your class notes beside your homework paper & model your work after the examples in your notes • Correct any incorrect problems in class & ask questions until you understand all concepts covered. Keep up each day! • Attend tutoring if you need extra explanation &/or extra help. Don’t wait until the day before a major test • Study for every test
