  2. Do I think its safe? • I think nuclear technology is some what safe for people, animals, and the environment because if you don’t use a lot there isn't a lot of dangers exposure in the air who people to breath in.

  3. Home smoke detectors contain radioactive materials? • This is true because they have an alarms that are important so you don't die.

  4. Radioactive materials and radiations are unnatural- they did not exist on Earth until created by scientists • This is true because they were on earth long before they were man made

  5. All Radiation causes cancer? • This is false because some are linked to cancer but there is a lot that’s not liked to cancer

  6. Human senses can detect radioactivity. • Yes, this is true! Warmth from fire is a radiation heating source.

  7. Individual vary widely concerning to how they are affected by exposure to radiation. Varies widely. So it could be true or false and witch way you look.

  8. Small amount of matter change to immense quantities of energy released by nuclear weapons. • True, Energy and Matter are coming from anywhere. Nuclear weapons releases energy and matter all the time.

  9. Physicians can distinguish cancer caused by radiation exposure from cancer resulting from other causes. • False, Not all radiation can be linked to cancer.

  10. Medical X-Rays are dangerous • False, Doctors use them every day!

  11. Nuclear power plants create serious hazards to public health and to the environment. • False, Nuclear power plants use the hear to generated from nuclear fission in the environment.

  12. An improperly operate nuclear power plants can explode like a nuclear weapon. • False, They can not explode like a nuclear weapon nor bomb

  13. Some nuclear wastes must be stored for centuries to prevent dangerous radioactivity. • True, Some are lend to regulation and actions with are counterproductive to the human body.

  14. New, dangerous elements are being invented every day. • False!, they are not. They haven't been in 8 years

  15. Nuclear power plants produce material that could be converted into nuclear weapons. • True, Nuclear reactors are used at the nuclear power plants for electricity.

  16. All nuclear medical techniques are highly dangerous. • No, Because doctors use X- Rays all the time. There is a lot that is dangerous but then there is some that isn't.
