  4. Thing to BRING TOMORROW!!! • 1 x 1 picture • Filler • Plastic envelope • Name plate (must be worn stating tomorrow until next week) • Bio notebook

  5. Personal Data Sheet WRITE these on your index cards: • Last name, First name Middle name Nickname • Address/ Person to contact in case of emergency • Interests • Expectations: (bio 1, classmates, teacher) • Pet peeves • Medical conditions (if there are any) • Your section last year • friends

  6. GRADING SYSTEM • EXAMINATIONS 35% • Quizzes (CUMMULATIVE) • 5 items, 10 items (can be 1 point or ½ point per item) • Unannounced (2) • Announced (4-6) • Long exams (2/qtr) • TARGET 2 days for the LE • 1st day objective part (20- 25 points: 30min) • 2nd day analysis part (25- 30 points: 30min)

  7. GRADING SYSTEM • Activities 20% • Laboratory activities (at least 1/qtr) • Laboratory reports • Laboratory rules (contract) • Practical exam (at least one) • Projects (YMSAT)

  8. GRADING SYSTEM • Periodical examination 25% • Departmentalized • NO EXEMPTIONS • Others 20% • SW/HW 8% • Recitation 8% (recit quiz) • NOTEBOOK 4%

  9. ROOM RULES • Proper uniform (NOT in proper uniform, NO ENTRY) • Behavior • Respect the person talking • Avoid unnecessary discussions • NO HORSE playing • Shouting and teasing • WHEN IT’s TIME TO LEARN, THEN FOCUS AND LISTEN!
