  2. Yesterday was my first day at school. I went to school earlier in order not to be late. My high school, California High school one of the best schools in my hometown, California, is located on Powell Street at 120. It is located between the City Park and stadium. There is a river behind the school. Some time students can see some children swim across the river and play on the grass near the river. When I came into the classroom, I saw some other students were sitting and chatting to another student. I, then, chose the desk near the window on the second row. I think that’s the most appropriate place for me because I can both pay attention to the teachers while they standing in front of the class, explaining the material, and also refresh my mind by looking out through the window for a while. My class is on the second floor and through the window we also can see the library below. There are some pictures on the wall and also a clock over the white board.
