  2. Transponder Sigma-0 • Assuming distributed target over footprint with diameter of 900 m: for Sigma-0 = 12dB -> RCS_Ku = 75.7 dBm2 RCS = 75.01 dBm2 --> Sigma-0 = 11.31 dB

  4. Preliminary Results • orbit #1500, 13th June’02: Sigma-0 (peak retracker) = 13.28 dB Sigma-0 (OCOG retracker) = 12.91 dB • orbit #2001, 18th July’02: Sigma-0 (peak retracker) = 12.41 dB Sigma-0 (OCOG retracker) = 12.16 dB
