  2. Indicator 1 What we have: Nat’l Hospital Policy RPPL 7-100 Healthy Lifestyle Guideline NCD Strategic Plan Action Plan for the CRC MCH Performance Measure

  3. Indicator --- DO WE HAVE A POLICY? GAPS: NO POLICY NO NATIONAL PLAN No funding allocated No National Breastfeeding Committee No Coordinator appointed NO TERMS OF REFERENCE

  4. RECOMMENDATIONS Identify ,clarify and unify all existing statements of advocacy for breast feeding and all IYCF. Expand Committee to include other partners Need to have a National Breastfeeding Committee with coordinator

  5. Action Plan Revisit Legislation RPPL 7-100 “Promotion of Optimal and Young Child Nutrition Act of 2006 and all other relevant documents. Consolidate into one clear national policy on IYCF. Committee to consolidate all documents into one clear national policy statement. Using the WBTi, the committee will develop the action plan to implement the policy.

  6. Expanding Membership and formalizing the terms of references. Identifying roles, timeline, ect.
