2. To tell about habitual activities • I usually get up at five o’clock every day • My father is a doctor and he works at hospital • He always watches News on TV before going to school
Rumus : (+) Subject + Verb I + ES/S + Object +Adverb (-) Subject + Does/Do + Not + Verb I + Object + Adverb (?) Does/Do + Subject + Verb I + Object + Adverb I We You They He She it Do Does
We usually add S to the infinitive for the 3rd person singular (he, she, it) e.g : (+) He drinks milk everyday (-) He does not drink milk every day (?) Does he drink milk every day - She cleans her room every day - it rains almost every day in bogor • We also add ES for the 3rd singular person when the verb ends in CH, SH, SS, X and O e.g : - He watches TV every night - She goes to school from Monday until Friday - John washes his car every day
