  2. Our Show • The show were planning on doing is a magazine style show. • The show will approach topical news stories and pop culture in general and approach it in a different way. • Aimed at women aged 16-24 • Variety of subjects and features

Why ? • The reason we chose this show is because it encompasses us in the target audience, making it easier for us to relate to. • Making a magazine show gives us the room to put in a whole wealth of ideas, meaning variety and entertainment for the audience. • Smaller features mean we can aim as high as we like – If we fail, we can just replace it.

  4. Ideas for features • Interviews, with people of interest/celebrities • A look at female gaming – not all nintendods • Geek Chic, or just geek ? • How internet learning could become more prominent – Not just CUonline • A quiz segment

  5. Cont.. • Entertainment reviews eg: Film, TV • A news segment • A discussion on news story of the day • Going out – Do we do it for fun or to forget? • Remakes – homage or desecration • Repo the genetic opera – how a film spawned a community

  6. To Conclude • We plan to approach this in a more intelligent way than most female aimed shows • We want to make something a little different than the norm, while still keeping to radio conventions that make it interesting. • If we make a show that we would choose to listen to then we will have succeded.
