What Happens Next Guidance Counsellors will be visiting classes by the first week of March to discuss the course selection process. Parents/Guardians should review the guide (on-line), discuss course selection with their son or daughter, and assist in the completion of the on-line form. It is important to make decisions that will allow your child to experience success. Students will be called down to the computer lab to complete the course selection forms in March
What Happens Next… During the months of April and May, school counsellors will assist each student – through individual meetings - making sure selected courses allow the student to meet graduation and program requirements. Guardians are encouraged to talk with their students and check power school for course selection updates. Counsellors will individually meet all potential graduates in the fall of their senior year to review course selection. A parent information session will also be held at that time to discuss post-secondary information, scholarships and timing.
