Training Center Administration Pam Johnson & Vago Galounis May 17, 2012
Goal of Session Update Chapters on: • Change in training agency agreement renewal policy • Best operational practices webinar • Commitment of processing
TAC Renewal Policy Change Current practice to require the Training Center and NSC to sign a new Training Center Agreement each time the Agreement is renewed • Even if there are no changes to the Agreement. • This created an unnecessary administrative burden for both NSC and the Training Agency.
TAC Renewal Policy Change Instituting a new policy under which the Training Center Agreement will be automatically renewed at the end of each term or renewal term • No need for signatures by NSC or the Training Center • All other provisions of the Training Center Agreement will remain in effect during each renewal term
TAC Renewal Policy Change As before, either NSC or the Training Center may elect not to renew the Training Center Agreement by providing 30 days notice prior • If NSC wishes to change the Training Center Agreement, it will provide a copy of the change to the Training Center and request the Training Center’s signature indicating its agreement to the change.
TAC Renewal Policy Change Effective July 1, 2012 • Letters of change mailed in June • All agencies? Subs? • Mailed from NSC? Mailed from Chapter?
Best Practices Webinar The webinar will cover operational best practices in the training agency agreement and certification process for DDC and First Aid • May 29, 2012 • 10:00 AM CST
Commitment of Processing NSC has a back log of Credentialing • Work with each Chapter to resolve any open/outstanding items • Goal of completion July 1, 2012. • Meet the team
