Status Report • Since Dec. 2012, committee wrote report of current & future status of digital signage at UNM • Gap Analysis • Lack visual emergency notification system • No centralized entity for managing • Inconsistent branding • Outdated information • No dynamic way-finding
Suggested Requirements & Features • Educate our customer base • Be well-supported as an enterprise system • Be accessible & affordable to all departments using existing purchasing mechanisms • Feature updated content • Be a safety communication tool for the entire UNM community. • Convey information about the University • Provide current affairs & events to the University community • Provide way-finding solutions for campus locations (main and branch campuses) • Showcase student, faculty and staff achievements • Provide sponsorship opportunities
